Congratulations to Sun Coast Police Benevolent Association Member Officer James Cain on being named the John Morroni Police Officer of the Year!JOHN MORRONI AWARDS GO TO SUN COAST PBA MEMBERS.
We could not have been prouder to nominate and to present Sun Coast PBA Member Officer James Cain with this year’s John Morroni Police Officer of the Year.

Here’s an excerpt from our speech:
“In a reactive world where making no decision is easier and frankly, safer, than making the tough decisions, our brothers and sisters in this law enforcement community and the men, women, and children who live, work, and visit Pinellas County are safer because of the proactive police work undertaken by Officer James Cain.”

Our thanks to Senator Nick DiCeglie, and to the John Morroni Foundation, for this opportunity to highlight the best among us— including Sun Coast PBA Member and former Sun Coast PBA Law Enforcement Officer of the Year, PCSO Deputy Matt Aitken.

Please join us in wishing Florida PBA President John Kazanjian a very Happy Birthday! Thank you, Kaz, for all that you do and for your years of dedicated service to the Florida PBA. We hope you have a great day!

The Broward County PBA spearheaded a weeks-long advocacy campaign to publicly expose the hostile work conditions Margate Police Officers were subjected to on a regular basis, leaving Chief Galaska to announce his retirement. When we fight, our members win!
