An agreement has been reached with the State of Florida concerning the collective bargaining agreement covering Correctional Officers, Correctional Probation Officers and ISS Officers. Your rights concerning fighting unfair discipline/termination, grievance procedures, safety issues, promotional rights, and layoff protection have been preserved in this contract.
By voting for this agreement, you will secure the wage increase effective July 1, 2023 and have one of the strongest labor agreements/contracts of any State group. The PBA urges you to vote today to approve the new agreement. When this agreement is approved, we will begin negotiations for pay and benefit increases for fiscal year 2024.
